CHOCO BANANA SPLIT

Ingredients:

3/4 cups sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons water
3/4 cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 banana
1 scoop vanilla ice cream

1. Put sugar, cocoa and water in a small pan.
2. Add milk. Stir it until it comes to the boil.
3. Simmer gently for 5 minutes. Stir in butter and vanilla.
4. Set it aside to cool for about 10 minutes.
5. Peel, then split the banana in half.
6. Put the 2 halves in a nice sundae dish.
7. Put a scoop of ice cream on top.
8. Pour chocolate sauce over each and serve.

1 pkt instant pudding (any flavour)

1 cup milk
1 tsp baking powder

1 cup lemonade
1 cup runny cream

1. Put the flour and baking powder in a bowl (DO NOT MIX) and make a well.
2. Pour lemonade and runny cream into the well and fold mixture.
3. Add sugar and keep folding.
4. Knead into reasonable size scones.
5. Bake at 220 degrees Celsius until golden and fluffy.

3. Peel the bananas and dip them in the chocolate until they are half coated.
4. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle a tspn of sugar onto the bananas.
5. Put them in the freezer until frozen.
6. EAT!

CHOCOLATE PIKELETS

Ingredients:

1egg
1/4 of a cup sugar
3/4 of a cup milk
1 cup of self raising flour
1 table spoon of cocoa
1 handful of chocolate chips

A little butter

1. Combine the egg with the sugar.
2. Sift the flour and the cocoa together, then add to the sugar mixture.
3. Add the chocolate chips and enough milk to make a smooth mixture.
4. Heat the frying pan and then add a little butter to prevent the mixture sticking to the pan.
5. Spoon the mixture into the pan, making piklets of about 6 - 8 cm diameter.
6. Cook until bubbles start to appear and then turn over. Cook an additional 30 seconds, or until brown on both sides. Continue until all the mixture has been used.

 

YUMMY DELICIOUS
DIGIMON CUP CAKES

NB: This recipe is harder than normal, so may need the assitance of a parent or adult!

Ingredients:

520g butter
150g caster sugar
325g self-raising flour
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp apricot jam
1 tbsp water
700g white ready-to-roll icing
edible food colouring in:pink,yellow,
orange,green,blue,purple and red

1. Place the butter and sugar in a mixer or food processor. Blend until combined. Sift in the flour and salt and mix until smooth. Wrap in cling film and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
2.Cut out templates of your chosen Digimon characters from plastic icecream lids (make them about 10cm to 12cm across - the dough will spread in the oven).
3.Roll out the dough on a floured surface until about 5mm thick. Cut the dough to the desired shapes using a sharp knife around the plastic templates and transfer to greased baking sheets. This amount of dough should make four of each cookie design.
4.Bake in an oven pre-heated to 180 degrees C for 8 to 10 minutes. Then carefully remove the cookies and place them on a wire cooling rack.
5.To decorate the cookies you first need to colour the white icing. Use the following amounts of food colouring: 70g pale yellow. 15g bright yellow. 150g orange. 40g pink.10g green. 100g blue. 25g pale purple. 15g red.
6.Cut out the backround colour for the cookies by rolloing out coloured icing and cutting around the stencils with a sharp knife, blue for Veemon, Orange for Patamon and leave the icing white fo Gatomon. Put the apricot jam and water into a small saucepan.Bring to the boil and stir until melted,strain and brush onto the cookies leaving a small border, then place the cut out shapes onto the biscuits.Use remaining coloured and white icing for the features of the digimon characters.Attach these also using the apricot glaze.

1/2 an onion
1 rasher of bacon
1 teaspoon butter
1 packet parsley sauce
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/2 cup grated cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs

To Make the Pastry:
1. Mix together but leave the butter showing

hop half an onion finely
7. Chop one piece of bacon finely
8. Melt butter in a sauce pan
9. Add bacon and onion - cook for 2-3 minutes
10. In a cup mix half a packet of parsley sauce and quarter of a cup of milk
11. Mix and add to onion and bacon cook until boiled
12. Add egg, grated cheese and breadcrumbs
13. Mix on a low heat until combined
14. Fill muffin trays evenly and cook in a preheated oven at 200 for 25 minutes or until tops are golden brown

CRUNCHY PASTRY SHOE

1/4 cup tomato sauce

1. Turn over to 220*C (425*F) Get out a large oven tray.
2. Sift flour & salt into bowl. Chop up butter and add.
3. With fingers, rub in butter until blended in.
4. Add milk (more if needed) and knead & mix to a soft dough.
5. Roll it out on the baking tray until 34cm in diameter.
6. Brush dough with oil then the tomato sauce.
7. Sprinke cheese on top.
8. Spread salami and zucchini evenly over.
9. Bake 20-25 minutes or until cooked.

ROCKY ROAD ICE CREAM

100g packet red glazed cherries
100g packet coloured marshmallows
1/4 cup choc bits
1/4 cup crushed nuts
2 tblspns desiccated coconut
1 Itr vanilla ice-cream
softened 60g dark chocolate chopped 3 tablespoons coconut

1. Chop cherries finely.
2. Cut Marshmallows into pieces.
3. Put cherries, marshmallows, choc bits, nuts and coconut into a bowl.
4. Add ice-cream. Mix gently.
5. Pour into a loaf or bread tin - smooth the top.
6. Cover with plastic wrap.
7. Put in freezer for 3 hours.
8. Melt dark chocolate in a bowl over hot water.
9. Spoon melted chocolate over ice-cream and serve.

APPLE CRUMBLE

1. Wash apples, cut into quarters, cut out cores and slice thinly.

5. Chop butter into pieces.
6. Add to crumble and mix in with your fingers.
7. Sprinkle crumble mix over apple.
8. Bake in oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown.

CHOCOLATE DELIGHTS

Ingredients:

Two bars of plain chocolate
2 Tblspns Castor Sugar
4 Tblspns Milk
1 cup self raising flour

2 small eggs
Pinch of Custard Powder
100g of melted butter

1. Crack the eggs into a bowl and add the castor sugar mixing well.
2. Add the flour one tablespoon at a time and then the custard powder, stiring all the time. Make sure there are no lumps in the mixture.
3. Put the butter in a saucepan and heat until melted.
4. Add the chocolate into the butter mixture and the milk.
5. When the chocolate has completely melted, leave 1/3 of it in the pan to harden and add the remainder to your mixing bowl and mix throughly..
6. Roll the mixture into round flat pieces and but onto a greased baking tray.
7. Back for approx 30 minutes at 190 degrees.
8. After 30 minutes remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes.
9. Grate the remainder of the chocolate mixture over the pastries.
10. Walla .. your chocolate delight is ready to serve

PIZZA SNACKS

Ingredients:

2 hamburger buns
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup tomato sauce
12 thin slices of salami
8 thin slices of cheese
(about 5 x 2 cm)
1 teaspoon dried oregano

1. Cut the hamburger buns in half.
2. Brush the 4 halves with melted butter.
3. Toast lightly under grill. Leave the grill on.
4. Brush toasted halves with tomato sauce.

7. Sprinkle a little oregano on top.
8. Put back under grill till cheese is bubbly.

RASPBERRY ROYALE

Ingredients:

85g strawberry instant pudding mix
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons gelatine
1 tablespoons boiling water (BE CAREFUL)
300ml thickened cream, whipped
1/2 cup fresh raspberries 250g packet jam sponge roll

Line a medium bowl with plastic wrap. Beat together the pudding mix and milk in a large bowl until smooth. Put gelatine + boiling water in a small bowl + stir gently until dissolved. Mix gently into the pudding mixture. Add the whipped cream. Add raspberries. Mix gently. Cut cake into 1cm slices.Cover bottom and sides of serving bowl. Spread raspberry filling on top of the cake. Cover with plastic wrap. Put in fridge overnight. Turn out a flat plate to serve.

Make balls by rolling 1 tablespoons of dough. put balls on tray 4cm apart. bake 1 tray at a time for 12 minutes. leave on tray for 5 minutes then cool on a wire rack.

CHOCOLATE STEAM PUDDING

Ingredients:

1/2 cup flour
1 tspn baking powder

1/4 cup milk
2 tspns cocoa
2 tblspns sugar
2 tspns strawberry jam
1 egg
30 grams butter

This recipe makes 2!

1. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl.
2.
Cream butter and sugar in another bowl.
3.
Add egg to creamed mixture and blend in with wooden spoon. 4. Make a ' well ' in dry ingredients and tip in creamed butter mixture.
5. Mix well.
6.
Spray/ or grease cups then put 1 teaspoon of strawberry or plum jam into each cup.
7. Halve chocolate pudding mixture and put half into each cup.
8. Loosely cover.
9. Cook on ' high ' for 2 minutes for 2 cups.

250gm Kremelta
1 cup skim milk powder

1 cup icing sugar
3 tblspns cocoa
1/2 cup dried fruit or nuts

Ingredients:

1 cup flour
1 tbspn icing sugar

1 tspn baking powder
salt & pepper

75 gms cheese

1. Sift 1 cup of flour with 1 tablespoon icing sugar, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/8 teaspoon salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
2. Rub in two tablespoons of butter, add 75grams (3 oz) grated cheese.
3. Mix to a stiff dough with a little milk.
4.
Knead and roll out very thin, cut into fingers or squares ( we sometimes use animal cutters).
5. Prick with a fork.
6. Bake about 10 minutes at 200 deg C (400 deg F)

FRENCH OMELETTE

 

Ingredients:

Parsley

2 eggs
2 tablespoons water
Salt & Pepper

1. Prepare filling first- grate cheese. Wash and finely chop the parsley.
2. Break 2 eggs into a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons cold water, a pinch of salt and a shake of pepper.
3. Beat with a folk until eggs are combined
4. Melt the butter in a frying pan.
5. Turn up heat until the butter is foaming (180g)
6. Pour the egg mixture into the pan. Cook until almost set.
7. Put the other ingredients on one half
8. Fold over and continue cooking

Ingredients:

5 tablespoons Sugar
2 tablespoons Golden Syrup

1 teaspoon Bicarbonate Soda

Bring sugar & golden syrup to the boil slowly, stirring all the time. Simmer gently over a low heat for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add Bicarbonate Soda. Stir in Quickly until it froths and pour at once into a greased tin. Break up when cold. Store in air tight jars.

Ingredients:

1 egg
1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of milk
1 1/2 cups self raising flour

Beat the egg, sugar, and vanilla until white and fluffy. Add the milk and flour and mix until you have a smooth paste. Butter the frying pan and wait until heated. Spoon a desertspoon full of mixture into the pan and cook until it starts to bubble on top. Turn the piklet over and cook the other side. Repeat this process until you have used all the mixture. Serves well with butter & jam .

Ingredients:

Break the eggs into a bowl and beat until the yokes are broken. Add all the milk and beat for 30 seconds. Into a frying pan add the butter and put on low hea (about 2 on a standard element)t. Dip one slice of bread into the egg mixture so that both sides are well coated. Add the bread into the frying pan, using an eggslice so you don't burn your fingers. Allow to brown, approx. 30 seconds before carefully turning over. When the second side has browned remove from the pan onto a clean plate. Sprinkle with cinnamon, and allow to cool before eating. Dip the next slice of bread into the egg mixture and add to the pan as before.
